Managing Director

Cheryl is a fully qualified funeral director with over 20 years experience. After being made redundant ten years ago Cheryl founded Dignity With Sincerity. She noticed what was "missing" in the funeral business. Her well renowned woman's touch emonstrates her dedication of ensuring that the cost caring and gentle yet professional approach, is not missing here.
Her business has steadily grown over the last ten years.
Cheryl states that "Funeral Directing is a life style not just a career and I am proud to lead such a loyal and discerning team of ladies" She enjoys golf and tennis as a way of relaxing as well as catching up with friends over dinner or just a coffee.
Cheryl is always seeking ways to help local community groups where she can and belongs to numerous business associations and clubs.
She is also a Justice of the Peace & Civil Union Celebrant.

I have been at Dignity with Sincerity Funeral Services, funeral directing for 8 years and take pride in what I do. Growing up in the funeral profession has given me an even greater insight into grief and the importance of listening to families in their time of need. I also have a life outside funeral directing and this includes playing both indoor and outdoor sports socialising with friends and family and having fun.

I have lived Christchurch all my life,am married to Dave and we have two daughters Kimberley and Kate. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me and I have always had a strong involvement with local community groups and associations. Funeral Directing is something I am passionate about and consider it a privalige to help and guide families through their time of grief.
Embalming enables me to prepare a loved one for their family with pride, dignity and respect, satisfaction comes from seeing and hearing their appreciative comments.
